LED protection code

LED protection code, Kuai C4 welder's LED panel displays "0000" and "----" alternately, so it fails to adjust electric current and weld.

Description of Kuai ultra-high voltage protection functions:

 

1. when Kuai welder is connected with the input voltage more than 270V, the welder starts self-locking function. LED panel displays "0000" and "----" alternately. As is shown in Fig. below:

2.at this moment, the welder fails to adjust its current and weld. It reminds the user that the input voltage is not correct. The welder is not faulted or damaged

 

Method of unlocking:

 

1. At first, be sure to check input network voltage, and adjust the network voltage up to normal working range: 120V - 260V,

2.and open the power source; when the LED panel displays "0000" or "----", turn the encoder knob and adjust its numerical value up to "0058". As is shown in Fig. below:

 

3.in the "0058" interface, press the encoder knob.

4.At this time, LED panel works normally. Restart the welder to weld normally.

 

 

2. LED panel displays "EE01" under-voltage or "EE02" over-voltage protection code, check if the network voltage is normal.

 

a.If the voltage is less than 300V, "EE01" protection code appears. If the voltage is more than 435V, "EE02" protection code appears.

b. Please contact with Etal headquarters to change the software's numerical value. If the network voltage is normal, and Etal headquarters has changed the software's numerical value, "EE01" or "EE02" protection code appears, the intelligent control module is faulted, replace it.

 

3.If the welder does not work, LED panel blinks or displays "EE04" high-frequency transformer over-heating protection or "EE08" inverter overheating protection code,

 

a.check if the sun shines the welder body which causes the welder's over-high temperature, and if the over-heating protection code appears. (Shelter the welder from the sun, which avoids long-term work under the high-temperature environment.)

b.Check if the fan runs. If the fan does not work, the welder likely does not radiate heat, so the welder appears over-heating protection. Replace the fan or take a rest for 5 minutes. If the fan works normally, and the welder appears over-heating, please keep the welder under the no-load condition for 5 minutes or so.

c. Check if the air duct of the welder's heat radiating components is filled with dust, blow off the dust. Be sure to remove the dust regularly.

d. Check if the current exceeds continuous load current for a long time. Because of continuous over-load work, "high-frequency transformer" is over-heating or "inverter" is over-heating, which causes over-heating protection. Please keep the welder under the no-load condition for 5 minutes or so.

e.If the above faults are removed, the welder yet blinks or appears "EE08", the intelligent control module is faulted, replace it.

 

4.If the welder does not work, LED panel displays "EE05" protection code.

 

a. Check if the network voltage is normal. If the voltage is more than 570V, "EE05" code appears, please contact with Etal headquarters.

b.If the network voltage is normal, "EE05" code yet appears, the intelligent control module is faulted, replace it.

 

5.If the welder does not work, LED panel displays "EE08" (old welders before the year 2008) or "EE11" thermistor open-circuit code.

 

a.Check if the thermistor wire socket is in wrong place,

b.if the thermistor wire plug is inserted well (pull out the wire or shake it),

c.if the thermistor resistance is normal, 55K or so,

d. if the thermistor's 2 connection points on the IGBT inverter components pressing plate (circuit board) is shorted.

 

6.If the welder does not work or works with small current, LED panel display "EE16" default phase protection code.

a.If the welder works, LED panel displays "EE16",

a).check if the three-phase input power wire is connected well, if the power wire is broken or connected virtually,

b).check if the input three-phase network voltage is normal; if the three-phase is not balanced or has wide gap, this code appears.

b.Upon power-on, if LED panel displays "EE16"

a)check if the blue 2-core socket default-phase line connecting the IGBT inverter components with the intelligent control module is connected virtually,

b)check if 3W/240K resistance on the IGBT inverter components is normal.

c) If the above is normal, the intelligent control module is faulted, replace it.

 

7.LED panel displays "EE28" power grid protection code

 

a.Check the network voltage. If the voltage is more than 460V, this code appears.

b. If the network voltage is normal, it is likely to access to the channel due to misoperation, the channel numerical value is changed, please contact with Etal quarters to change the software's numerical value.

 

8. If the welder does not work, LED panel displays "EE32" no-output voltage code,

 

a. check the network voltage. If the voltage is less than 260V, this code appears.

b.Check if the rectifier and freewheel tubes of rectifier and freewheel components are broken down (see Detection Method 5.7) via the output end with the multimeter.

c. Check if the orange and white positive and negative feedback lines connecting with the positive and negative electrodes of the intelligent control module and the output end are broken or if the socket is in poor contact,

d. check if the high-frequency transformer secondary is shorted (low fault rate).

e.If the above is normal, the intelligent control module is faulted, replace it;

 

9. the LED panel display "EE48" code;

 

a.when this code appears, "EE16" and "EE32" appear the overlay. See the solution in the detailed interpretation of "EE16" and "EE32".

b. If the above codes are normal, the intelligent control module is faulted, please replace it;

 

10. the LED panel appears "EE64" no-drive voltage code.

 

a, detect grid voltage is normal, the voltage below 250V, there will be EE64 protection

b, as the voltage is normal, also appeared "EE64" protection, or appear "EE64" again after the other fault codes (garbled), compared to a software failure, the intelligent control module needs to be replaced

 

11 LED display "EE96" Code

When this code, was "EE32" and "EE64" two codes appear superimposed problem, the solution, refer to Comments "EE32" and "EE64" two codes
